This year’s most anticipated Holiday family film, DAVID, which will be opening exclusively in theaters nationwide on Friday, December 19, 2025. The highly anticipated musical is a larger-than-life animated feature film that brings the timeless story of one of history’s most fascinating figures to life — the warrior, poet, shepherd, and eventual king, whose courage changed the course of nations.
GRAMMY Nominated artist Phil Wickham (David) joins Brandon Engman (Young David) and Brian Stivalein (Samuel) in the epic animated family adventure Directed by Phil Cunningham and Brent Dawes. Phil Wickham recently won Christmas Album of the Year at the 2025 GMA Dove Awards. DAVID is also currently tracking to be one of the largest family titles of the holiday season and currently has over $8 million in presales to date and climbing.
