- Disney+ and Hulu are the new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title holders for the world’s largest gingerbread house.
- An official judge from Guinness World Records was on hand to verify the record and confirmed that the house, measuring 44,838 cubic feet, was a new world record.
- The creation was built in only 8 days and designed as the iconic McCallister home. It stands at a whopping 34 feet long, 58 feet wide, and over 22 feet tall, and is constructed out of 4,200 gingerbread brick tiles and almost 1,800 roof tiles.
- This holiday showstopper is made from 7,350 pounds of all-purpose flour and over 6,600 eggs, all held together with 20 gallons of edible glue and finished with 10 pounds of fondant.
- Fans can visit the gingerbread house in person tonight, December 19, from 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Hollywood & Vine (6301 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028). Guests are welcome to stop by any time, or they can reserve a ticketed time slot online.
- Visitors can also help create holiday magic during their visit by donating a new, unwrapped toy to Toys for Tots.
- This year marks the 35th anniversary of Home Alone, and viewers can enjoy the entire franchise, now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
